My name’s Duncan Bradley. I’m the author of How To Sound Smart When Talking About Charts and the creator of A Data Graphics Map of London.

I have a PhD in Psychology from the University of Manchester. My research explored the question ‘How do data visualisations make numbers look big or small?’

I work as a Data Visualisation Developer and write monthly articles about data graphics at Graph Paper. My writing has also been published in academic journals and Nightingale, the magazine of the Data Visualisation Society.

I have given talks to the Experimental Psychology Society, the Jean Golding Institute, and London Data Visualisation.
